Art Works Now is committed to ensuring access to high-quality arts education for all members of our community. In honoring this commitment, we offer scholarships to help offset the cost of summer camp enrollment fees. We are thrilled to announce that the Hous Foundation has provided Art Works Now with a grant to offer summer camp scholarships this year in memory of Annie Niewenhous and her children. The Mission of the Hous Foundation is to improve the quality of life of children and families in our community.  An avid crafter and life-long artist, Annie touched lives with her creativity and valued opportunities for children to express themselves through art. We are offering 15 scholarships for $300 each. Families will be required to pay only $40 for a week of summer camp. Scholarships awarded for summer camp are non-transferrable and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash, or applied toward another program.

Scholarship requests are reviewed and announced on a monthly basis ahead of our camp season. For the 2023 summer camp season, we will process scholarship requests on 2/27/23, 3/27/23 and, 4/27/23. All requests received in advance of each month’s scheduled review date will be considered and each family will be notified of our decision shortly thereafter.  Scholarship applications will be available beginning February 14, 2023.  Submitting a request does not guarantee a scholarship award. Please inquire directly to info@artworksnow.org. All inquiries will be considered on an individual basis.

A few words from our campers!!!

My favorite part of camp has been painting wildlife and going outside with my friends. I liked learning about Keith Haring and using inspiration from his work to make exciting drawings.

It’s so cool that we have so much fun and freedom to make what we want and let our creative minds EXPLODE! ... Art Works Now is my favorite camp!”
— Camper (age 9)
...I had so much fun making art all day. My favorite project was making collages of wildlife because the teachers did it with us and we were all in it together...
