Steps We’re Taking to Help Keep You Safe

COVID-19 Policy & Procedures

Current COVID-19 Health & Safety Precautions:

Art Works Now (AWN) programs serve a wide range of participants including children, older adults, and other members of our community who are at increased risk for getting very sick from COVID-19 due to age, compromised immunity, and/or underlying health conditions. Throughout the pandemic, we have taken measures to mitigate and prevent the spread of COVID-19, as well as colds and flu at AWN. Our COVID-19, Health & Safety Precautions have been developed in consultation with licensed healthcare professionals to meet or exceed local, state, and federal guidelines for COVID-19 while keeping the specific needs and concerns of our participants in mind. AWN reserves the right to modify our Health & Safety policies at any time and without prior notice, based on local, state, and federal guidelines, community levels, and/or participant or operational concerns.

While AWN strongly encourages all participants to be fully vaccinated, effective January 1, 2023, AWN will no longer require participants to show proof of vaccination.

AWN continues to require all employees and in-person teaching artists to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Masks are REQUIRED for spring sessions.

As part of our effort to prevent the spread of viruses, including COVID-19, all staff, Teaching Artists, and participants MUST wear a properly-fitted mask to cover the nose and mouth 100% of the time while indoors at AWN during our Spring sessions. Masks are recommended but not required for outdoor programming.

Registration:

When registering for in-person programs, participants must acknowledge AWN’s current Health & Safety policies.
